Judy says:
Obviously love God, love others, gratitude, praise, giving, etc. etc. All those basics we should always do, it’s like the base of the best ice cream sundae… BUT for 2021…after coming out of 2020…my sliced strawberries, chopped walnuts and chocolate syrup on top are going to be:
1. Surrender to God and Fight the good fight of Faith. Sounds like an oxymoron, but it isn’t. We surrender our will to His and then fight with the Word of God. Because the battle IS real; but the victory is assured.
James 4:7 “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
I Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. Paul uses active and forceful verbs to describe the Christian life. Flee. Pursue. Fight. Take Hold. Christianity is not a passive religion that says to wait on God. He’s already done His part. We must have

 Pearls of wisdom:
If you want to find God. You have to look for Him. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Seek His Word. Go to His house. You tend to find what you are looking for.
Learn new skills. In the Gospel we are called to be fishers of men. Different fish are attracted to different bait. With every new skill you learn you gain new bait to attract others to the Go

For many, it has given us space to get our priorities in right order. It has helped us to find out that GOD is THE Source of our identity, provision, and joy…not any other human being, whether that be our pastor, employer,...

Jesus loves telling stories to get His point across.
One of the men commented on His story while they were eating. It seems as if he wanted to impress Jesus that they were on the same page spiritually.
Jesus was talking about those He noticed who wanted the "seat of honor." So, this man said, "Blessed is the man who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God." At first glance it sounds OK and a good statement, right? (Luke 14)
Jesus had a different view of his comment. Which led Him to tell another story.
This time He talked about someone who prepared a great banquet and invited many guests. They accepted his invitation. He began to make preparations for their coming. Once everything was in place. "He sent his servant to let the people know it was now time to come. Everything was ready.
But they ALL ALIKE began to make excuses." (vs 18)
Then Jesus, in His true story-form-fashion, began to give examples. In each case it sounded legitimate to the ears of those mak
Before I knew it, it was the 11th month of 2020. Like many others who planned out their itinerary at the end of 2019, no one anticipated how this year would unfold. Even now I feel as though there is an invisible force determined to destroy humanity’s hope. Clinging to faith was inevitable in the face of a global pandemic and social unrest. It was the catalyst for my hunger for Truth, and not some regurgitated truth from multiple sources, but an actual quest to find answers to ongoing questions. Prophesies and dreams seemed to elude me as I questioned God’s words spoken over me in 2019.
“Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.” â€â€Jeremiah‬ â€33:3‬ â€NLT‬‬
“It is God’s privilege to conceal things and the [queen’s] king’s privilege to discover them.” â€â€Proverbs‬ â€25:2‬ â€NLT‬‬ (my paraphrase)
When I inquired of the Lord, my discovery was one of elation and expectation. Elated that the answers that I sought came from a p

These are the top 5 lessons learnt in 2020 that will strengthen us as we continue to journey as EPIC Conquerors
1. We can do nothing without Him
Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
2. What we considered important is not really
Luke 12:27-28 “Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you hav
