From Unstoppable - Unlocking your fullest potential
Did you know that having no productivity or to be stagnate at
a certain growth level is actually unscriptural?
Think of the story of the master who gave his servants various
talents. One was given five, another two and to the third
servant, one talent. Time passed by and the master returned
for an accounting of what his servants had done with what he
had given them.
He commended the two who were productive and multiplied
the resources he had given them. To the servant who buried
the talent and didn’t bother to increase his master’s
entrusted monies came a swift and immediate response of
condemnation. Matthew 25 and Luke 19.
God has given each of us many talents, abilities and skills to
use for advancing His kingdom. He expects us to take what He
has entrusted to us and apply ourselves to increase our skills
for a greater harvest.
We are not given the same number or kinds of talent so it is
foolish to compare ourselves to one another. We are,
however, expected to take what God deposited in us and to
develop, increase and expand on what we were given to their
fullest potential bringing Him glory. II Corinthians 10:12
“Let everyone be devoted to fulfill the work God has given
them to do with excellence, and their joy will be in doing
what’s right and being themselves, and not in being affirmed
by others.” Galatians 6:4
