"Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for.
It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.
This testimony of faith is what previous generations where commended for.
Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God's words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen."

2020 is rapidly approaching it's mid-year mark. The first four months + have been quite a roller-coaster ride. Ups and downs, then those flips upside down and that slow ascent to the tippy-top for the downhill warp speed that will whip around a corner and leave you breathless as the car comes to a screeching halt.
Remember those fun rides? You got off and wanted to ride it again didn't you?
However, when life feels topsy-turvy we long for days of familiarity.
Now is the perfect time to decide not to fall back to old patterns, dare to dream, dare to do something new, dare to create a new season of growth and productivity.
Here's where we, as believers, have the opportunity
to allow our faith to abound.
Faith is not just a believing, and a wishing and a hoping...faith is belief acted upon.
"Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for.

Faith & Maybe?
Does that even count? Let's take a look at this powerful posture of strong faith. When we give up our need for certainty we gain true confidence independent of circumstances.
When we sense God speaking to us about something there's an area of, "Oh, Lord, I don't know." We feel the responsibility before we have the supply.
This is where "works" jumps in, in response to the initial faith spark. Anyone can have an idea but until you put works into motion you'll never know the supply.
Once the initial faith sparks we add dry grass and small sticks to ignite the faith into a flame. We begin blowing softly on the flame til it bursts into fire. We then continue adding fuel until it becomes a bonfire, a force to be reckoned with.
Reading Hebrews 11 and 12 and other passages of faith in action we discover that they didn't have all the answers before forging ahead. As James says, "Show me your faith by your works as faith without corresponding action

"Lord, I believe, help my unbelief." Mark 9:24That was the cry of a desperate father whose son was tormented with demonic possession for years. Jesus' disciples were unable to deliver the young man so the father went straight to their leader, to Jesus, for help. The father said to Him, "If You are able to do something, anything - have compassion on us and help us!" Jesus replied, "What do you mean 'if'?" If you are able to believe, all things are possible to the believer."There are two "Ifs" in this event. The first "IF" was spoken by the father doubting the ability of Jesus or His desire to help on behalf of the horrific trial affecting their entire family. They had lived with these circumstances beyond their ability for years. They wanted to see their son set free. "Can You, will You, would You make it stop?" In essence that was what the distraught father was saying out of fear for his son...
Faith, Trust, Belief
John 8:45"I tell you the truth, you do not believe Me."Jesus was speaking to the religious folk of the day who where challenging Him for the umpteenth time. He was calling them out on their unbelief. There is a journey one takes towards unbelief - it is preceded by doubt which is preceded by expectation.Expectation is seeing from our perspective.a. "I expect the hotel room to look as nice as the picture."b. "I expect to receive the promotion due to my recent performance,"c. "I expect to be looked after because I am a victim of circumstance."Expectation is preached from pulpits, in motivational books and seminars and has been paraded as the key to positive thinking. As I researched the various dictionary meanings for expectation I realized this imposter is trying to disguise itself as FAITH.Expectation actually opens the door to doubt.a. "Because the hotel...
