Speaking faith-filled words rises out of a heart of trust, a place of "knowing" in God as the way, the truth and the life He called us into.
"Well, that's fine for you, but it won't work for me.""I know what Mark 11:23-24 says, but it doesn't always work.""Life is crazy hectic."Words spoken as accepted truth. (Psst. FYI - Fake news)These statements and more so often pour out of mouths without a thought to the cause and effect they're creating or to the heart they're revealing. "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." Voice is given to what we intrinsically believe. (our 2 cents, our opinion, what we feel). What is spoken will be acted upon. What is acted out results in consequences -(of our own making BTW)."The mouth speaks what the heart is full of."Matthew 12:34SO, the question of the hour is, "What are YOU talking about these days?"Speaking faith-filled words isn't "blab-it-and-grab-it" or "name-it-and-claim-it"nonsense. It's not a "I hope this works" posture.Speaking faith-filled words rises out of a heart of trust, a place of "knowing" in God as the way, the truth and the life He called us into. When we got born again, our spirits were born into eternal life rather than stuck in eternal damnation spent forever outside the presence of God. Ewwww! I don't wish that for anyone. Our minds must be renewed to the Word of God so His will drops into our "knower" like a cascade of living water which will bring forth the God-kind of faith out of which we then speak. This maturing process is a life-long journey developed through fellowship with God IN prayer, IN the Word and IN worship AND IN being a doer of His Words (what He commissioned us to accomplish on His behalf). When we veer off the plumb line and stop filling our minds with His Words through reading, meditating AND actions we thoughtlessly spew words out of an un-renewed, carnal heart.•Faith doesn't work out of an unforgiving heart.•Faith doesn't work out of a judgmental heart.•Faith doesn't work out of an unwilling heart.•Faith doesn't work out of a self-centered heart.•Faith doesn't work out of fear/desperation.•Faith operates/functions/works out of love from being one with Him.The Bible speaks of seed time and harvest. It's not harvest first and then seed sown. Don't get the Biblical process backwards.Yes, sowing involves finances, time, prayer, fellowship etc. It also involves sowing obedience seeds to His command to become a fisher of men and a disciple maker. This process requires us to PREPARE so we can SHARE (fish) and then CARE(disciple). As we sow into the lives of others so that they become children of God and grow in Him a marvelous transformation transpires. We grow. We mature. We speak faith effortlessly. We experience oneness with Him as partners in The Father's Family Business. How does that happen? Our spirits are being filled with Him. From that place creative faith-filled words are spoken. Words of joy, faith, peace and the will of God create a harvest-producing environment. What are you talking about? What are you filling/feeding your mind with? Are you prepared? Are you sharing? Are you caring? You can do all of these things as a student of THE MASTER'S Class. Sow into your season of PREPARATION so you can sow into the lives of others through SHARING so that you can sow into their spiritual growth through CARING . Experience His unspeakable joy (no words can describe it) which is full of His glory and reap harvest after harvest from your sown seeds. Eternity matters and so does the here and now!Judy Bauer
