Peace...and more!I recently heard an example of how this plays out: A husband said, "The other day, my wife was washing clothes.
The washing machine is a distance from where I was sitting watching TV, and she and I began talking loudly back and forth, and ended up, getting on each other’s last nerve.
This depressed me because earlier in the day, I had a real good prayer asking Father God to give me patience, and more love for others—trying to fulfill the “love your neighbor as yourself” instructions.
Agitated and frustrated I retreated to my “man cave,” my office.
I put on a CD by Dr. Clarice Fluitt. She asked: Do you know what the part in a washer, that gets the dirt out is called? It’s called an “Agitator.”
She said, “When God begins to clean us up, He puts us in His machine of agitating to get our spots and blemishes out. The most humble, amazing thing you can do is to submit and agree with God---allowing Him to clean you up.”Agitation (the prophetic) reveals the cleansing needed so the glory (reward) is seen.
Reveal: to make known, disclose, divulge, to lay open to view, display, exhibit.
The Bible reveals the will of God for your life.
As you read, meditate and hear Him speak to you; you discover God's purity.
He opens up His heart to you. He wants you to know Him.
"In Him there is no variation, no shadow of turning." James 1:17
God is who He says He is. You can rest assured that what He says, it will be so.
Many times people project what they think you want to see. They do this so you will accept them.
Other times people may perceive you are something you may or may not be.
Sometimes people want you to project yourself a certain way for their benefit.
Then, we have your real self...who you truly are.
Someone of integrity is true to who they are no matter who they are with or what they are doing.
It's a powerful way to live.
This is God's character or nature. He says of Himself, "I AM WHO I AM." Exodus 3:14
In order to be "free indeed" I've discovered you have to allow the AGITATOR to do its full cycle of work so that you can be whole, clean and free.
I've stumbled onto the secret, you must allow the prophetic Spirit of Christ to offend your flesh in order to reveal His Spirit through you so you walk fully in the reward of His presence and power.
Let the AGITATOR do it's FULL cycle of WORK!
What are you agitated about today? Hmmm...
Celebrate the work of God in you, it's for your good and His glory. Well worth the struggle.
Value comes out of the depth of struggle to obtain the promised prize / reward.
