Finishing 2020 #EPICStrong - Episode 2

2020 started as a year and the beginning of a decade with high expectations which where unexpectedly dashed with the global pandemic effecting billions of people around the world. The devastating effects echo's in communities and homes till at this very moment however the relentless spirit of overcoming is evident.
These are the top 5 lessons learnt in 2020 that will strengthen us as we continue to journey as EPIC Conquerors
1. We can do nothing without Him
Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
2. What we considered important is not really
Luke 12:27-28 “Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?”
3. Peace that surpasses all understanding
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
4. 1 day at a time
Matthew 6:34 Therefore, take no thought about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take thought about the things of itself. Sufficient to the day is the trouble thereof.
5. To the ends of the earth
Romans 10:17-18
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed:
“Their sound has gone out to all the earth,
And their words to the ends of the world.”
